On behalf of our client from the Gulf, Holol Alghad is looking for a Data engineer.
Build and own the data platform for a fintech: ingestion pipelines, a warehouse the analysts trust, and the models that feed risk scoring.
The role is open now and the team is ready to onboard as soon as the right person is found.
Responsibilities:
- Own features end to end, from design through release
- Keep the codebase clean, tested and documented
- Work directly with the client's engineers in their process
- Diagnose and resolve production issues in your area
- Share knowledge with the team and help newcomers ramp up
Requirements:
- Solid commercial experience in the role's core stack
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with an international team
- Upper-intermediate to advanced English
- Experience with Git and code review culture
Will be a plus:
- Cloud experience (AWS or Azure)
- Docker and containerisation
- CI/CD pipelines
- Interest in AI-assisted development tools
